Benjie brings a unique background and combination of experience to Next IP. He currently concentrates his practice in patent drafting and prosecution.

History

Prior to  joining Next IP, Benjie was a founding partner of Balser & Grell and was an associate attorney at an IP boutique in Atlanta, GA.

Benjie's industry roles stand out with distinctive expertise in power management. He honed his skills as an Analog Applications Engineer at Texas Instruments, Inc., based in Dallas, where his focus was on power management devices. Before his tenure at Texas Instruments, Benjie's career journey took him to Nokia Mobile Phones in Fort Worth, further enriching his industry experience and shaping his technical acumen in the fast-paced world of mobile technology.

Patent Prosecution

Benjie's patent prosecution expertise is as diverse as it is deep. Spanning a broad spectrum of technologies, Benjie's experience ranges from electrical and computer engineering to physics and beyond. He's adept in specialized areas such as telecommunication and digital cable systems, laser technology, and GPS, as well as processor architecture and power electronics. Benjie's proficiency extends through wireless networking standards, including IEEE 802.11, to the intricacies of optical electronics and even into the realms of financial services and business methods. His knowledge is a beacon in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
